How Debra Returned to ZXWWF...
The following takes place between 10am and 11am. Events occure as your watching them... obviously!
Overcast? The weather had been like this for days as the city that never sleeps slowly got going on another dull day. This city had hundreds of cafes like this one, nothing remarkable about that right? However should any of the other paying customers be wrestling fans with a good understanding they would no doubt recognize the face sitting alone at one of the tables tapping her fingers on the desk with one hand and sipping a coffee with the other. Her red lips were betraying a shy looking smile and her long blond hair moved slightly as the nearby air conditioning unit blew over it. Clearly she was glad nobody had given her trouble... at least not yet anyway. Whether it be autograph hunters, pervy old men or freaks of nature, this lady had that ability to attract people towards her and with such a friendly expression and professional appearance it was not hard to see why. It was still cold in New York even in the middle of March but her coat was off and her trademark look was ready for the man she was about to meet. Sure it wasn't going to be for a hot date, which saddened her a bit as she loved a bit of flirting in worktime but business had to come first today. A man approaches the reserved table and this blonde bombshell makes a panicked last brushing down of her hair and adjustments to her blouse... because first impressions were everything in the first moments of business...

I want to clear up something as the first part of your interview... your previous stint suddenly ended without warning and the company was not impressed with the timing of your exit... you had a major program lined up for this years ZXWWF Mania that got caned... so I would like to know the truth behind the myth of your exit because we heard a lot from the press but nothing from the proverbial horses mouth... (silence) I'm waiting Debra...

(sighs) If you must know... it was simply emotional stress from breaking up with Glen Jacobs... you know him as Kane in the company but... after he pubically hurt and humiliated me in front of a live audience and the millions watching at home... I struggled on a while clinging on to a tiny bit of hope that everything would be alright... but the stone cold truth is... I was destroyed mentally and I needed to get out of there as quick as I could carry my lil' ole legs. I could take a beating from anyone and come back with a big smile on my face... but not that... not that betrayal. Call me weak if you want to write that down but... I broke down... and time was needed to heal such wounds...

I had nothing to do with those bastards after I left, I sure as hell wouldn't have done that... I realise they offered me a contract but I turned it down in an instant... why? It wasn't just because Kane & The Undertaker would still be there... it was because all they wanted me to do was bikini contests and lingerie pillow fights... now I can see the smirk in your eyes and you are right... when I started out in the wrestling biz that is exactly the kind of matches I did... hell I won a title in one of those old companes because I was stripped to my bra & panties!

Well... I had a lovely time of it for sure honey... I got a great welcome, the staff are friendly and they always helped out if you weren't sure where you needed to go... they are a credit to this industry. I'll never have a bad word to say about them! (smiles)

I asked a few staff members as part of my investigation what you were like to work with... and you will be happy to know that they all enjoyed your company and unlike a lot of the ego maniacs about in the company... you were kind to them and treated them with respect... you have one of the most glowing personal reports we've ever had for the day to day side of things but unfortunatly I am not here to tell you how big your smile is... because the bigger issue for me is this... you allowed personal events to affect your in ring performances... to the point where your long talked about title ambitions became nothing more than a flicker of light in the darkness. I know its harsh but deep down you know what I say makes sense... you've got the looks and the personality, nobody could argue with that but... are you focused enough? What if we hire you back and within weeks you are with another man and months down the line all it is with you is watching an episode of a teen drama... cos like I said before we don't need a manager or valet who can look the part at the moment because we have plenty already...

You know what... you are right. I don't need to prove anything as a manager or valet. I have done everything in that role, I've taken men to world championships in other companies and made nobodies into mega stars. (the man nods) Now I can always do that role and do it well but I never got to wrestle as much as I would like, I've worked incredibly hard for the last year to learn more moves and do them correctly... now I don't delude myself I'll ever be Bret Hart or my ex husband but... I like to think that my determination to prove to everyone I'm not just a pretty face will help me out a lot... I probably don't know what I'm getting myself into but... I don't care... I wanna do it... so that one day I can truely say I have no regrets. My dream was always to hold a title belt and not win because I look good in underwear... even when I felt so alone and frustrated after leaving the company, that dream never quite died... Thats quite unfair... when I first came to the ZXWWF I was exactly that... I removed my silver robe and showed off my body on my debut... and all of you loved every second of it! However over time I wrestled more and won some famous victories whenever a challenge was thrown my way! I pinned Layla & Melina... I wrestled in cage matches, fall counts anywhere matches and hardcore B&P matches against Allison... I took beatings but dished out punishment as well! I surprised a lot of people with some of my performances... surely thats a sign of how hard I've worked on that side of my game? Surely thats a signal to you all about how passionate about the wrestling business I am? I know I'll start at the bottom getting my butt kicked every week, I know I'm probably gonna job like Sagus at first... but... I will give EVERYTHING in my being to work my way up the ranks... I'm not here to find a new husband or date some jokers, I'm done making friends and being used for thier ambitions because its just about me now... its finally me time... and Debra is going to do it her way and when I reach the top and hold that heavy belt... tears of joy will ruin my mascara as I shock the world who thought they knew how to hold me down and set me a fixed place... but maybe I'm wasting my time? Woah calm down... as tempting an offer that is... my intentions are still what I said they were... they sent me here to find out why you quit, why you want to come back and whether we should give a damn enough to hire you... and my findings are as follows... you have been through a lot outside of the ring but that is nobody's business... have you got over it? It is hard to tell but are you ready to do something about it? I reckon so... everyone deserves a second chance in life... and somehow you have got it... I'll make it clear to you one last time... you are alone, nobody is gonna like you when you walk in the door cos you ran out on us like a frenchman from the panzers... but I've interviewed others who have walked out the door crying and for all your soft kind appearance there is some kind of steel underneath that fragile exterior... some of our gals could break you in half with one move while others you could roll under the carpet with ease... you want to be a champion? First your gonna have to win back our hearts and minds... the staff, the bosses... and most importently... the fans... then... we shall truely see how much you have learnt about the combat in the ring... because I promise you... nobody is going to go easy on you... but I suspect you wouldn't have it any other way right?
